This policy explains what personal data Adderbee collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Adderbee Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and for account data held in our products. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@adderbee.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, work email, company and the content of your message.
- Account data if you sign up — profile, team membership and configuration.
- Customer content you put into the products. We process this on your instructions as a processor, not a controller.
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and approximate location derived from IP address.
Why we process it
We rely on contract where processing is needed to provide the service you asked for, legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention and product improvement, and consent for marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Cookies
We set only the cookies needed to run the site and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers, which is why you were not asked to dismiss a banner.
Sharing
We share data with sub-processors who host and support the service (infrastructure, email delivery, payments and support tooling). Each is bound by a data processing agreement. A current list is available on request. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Data is stored in the region you select — the UK, EU, US or Australia. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
- Enquiry data: 24 months from last contact.
- Account data: for the life of the account, then 90 days.
- Billing records: 7 years, as UK tax law requires.
- Security logs: 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to privacy@adderbee.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will post any material change here and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email before it takes effect.
